Asaad Moualla is born in 1998. Based in Paris, he studied Audiovisual Arts at the École Supérieure des métiers de l’image, du son et de la création 2D-3D. He then studied plastic arts at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. As a kid, he tried plugging in a piano keyboard, positioning his finger accidentally between the metal rods of the plug before proceeding to insert it into the outlet. After being aggressively electrocuted, it is said that he took a liking to the creation of electronic music. Experimenting in a variety of musical genres, he evolves a recognizable sonar characteristics across albums. Moualla is also known to work in the fields of audiovisual art, conceptual art, and installations. He studies themes of the unknown, the intangibility of emotions, the psychology of space, institutional criticism, and the satirical dimension of art. He created STRWLLER in 2020 to create an artistic vision, not defined by esthetic or style, but rather by the freedom to create an authentic and bold identity. Research is in progress for the inclusion of new team members in order to expand into other branches of art such as fashion, design, musical production, film directing, and event organisation.
